Follow the real entity structure
Borrowers, principals, guarantors, special-purpose entities, and properties are resolved from the lender tape and documented relationships.
CRE portfolio intelligence
Fintek Sentinel resolves borrower and property relationships, reviews configured public-record sources, and returns a confidential, point-in-time Distress Signal Summary. No numeric risk score. No automated lending decision.
Built for confidential reviews by portfolio surveillance, credit risk, and special assets teams.
This observation does not establish payment default or prescribe a lending action.
Illustrative interface · fictional record · not a live portfolio result
The operating problem
Sentinel is designed to connect a lender’s known portfolio data with dated external evidence while preserving the distinction between an observed record and a credit conclusion.
Borrowers, principals, guarantors, special-purpose entities, and properties are resolved from the lender tape and documented relationships.
Event, availability, and observation dates are kept distinct so later information does not contaminate an earlier review.
Each observation carries source, match, timing, and limitation context for human review—not a black-box conclusion.
Operating model
The lender supplies its tape through a secure channel. Fintek administrators configure and operate the resolution and evidence workflow; optional supplemental records are never required from the lender.
Ingest
CSV or XLSX is integrity-checked, isolated to the engagement, and retained under the configured administrative policy.
Resolve
Sentinel normalizes identities and follows documented borrower, principal, guarantor, and property connections.
Review
Dated records from sources configured for the engagement are evaluated against resolved entities and the selected cutoff.
Deliver
High-level observations and evidence context are presented for lender review, without a numeric score or recommended action.
Coverage is explicit. Sources and jurisdictions are defined for each engagement. “No qualifying evidence observed” means none was found within that disclosed coverage and cutoff—not that distress is absent.
Output behavior
Use the illustrative controls to see how the same reporting structure handles connected, unresolved, and absent evidence. Every name and record below is fictional.
Dated evidence connected
A county record we found describes a lien filing involving an entity we resolved as linked to the borrower. The record is dated within the review cutoff. Its current status and relevance to the loan require lender review.
Privacy and control architecture
Real identities are required for accurate entity resolution. The delivery architecture constrains how those identities enter, move through, and leave the workflow.
Cloudflare Access protects the admin console and API. The public website cannot submit a portfolio review.
Runs are scoped to lender accounts, with tenant-prefixed object storage and server-side membership checks.
Size-limited streaming uploads use declared SHA-256 digests and are removed if verification fails.
Material run and access events are written to the control plane for administrative review.
Records remain until a Fintek administrator deletes the run under the engagement’s retention terms.
The output contains no numeric risk score, borrower ranking, default probability, or recommended action.
Institutional pilot
A historical backtest can assess whether dated evidence would have surfaced before recorded trouble, how often observations were relevant, and where coverage or matching needs improvement.
Start a pilot discussionAgree on the historical portfolio segment, known outcomes, dates, and success measures before data moves.
Set engagement terms and issue the controlled upload path for the lender tape.
Keep later outcomes separate while Sentinel resolves entities and evaluates only evidence available at each cutoff.
Examine relevant signals, false positives, misses, lead time, and source limitations with the lender team.
Questions from risk teams
Only its lender tape is required. Fintek administrators operate entity resolution and the configured evidence-source workflow. Supplemental records may be added by an administrator when useful, but they are not a lender requirement.
No. The deliverable is a high-level, confidential Distress Signal Summary containing point-in-time observations and their evidence context. It does not assign a numeric risk score, predict default, rank borrowers, or recommend a lending action.
No. It means no qualifying evidence was observed within the sources, jurisdictions, identity matches, and evidence cutoff disclosed for that review. Coverage limitations remain visible.
The admin console is restricted to authorized Fintek staff through Cloudflare Access. A lender can receive a one-time upload link for its tape without receiving console access.
Measures should be agreed in advance and can include evidence relevance, false-positive rate, missed known events, entity-match quality, and lead time to recorded outcomes. Production claims should follow a real, lender-approved backtest.
